MSA Records has released a soundtrack album for the French limited series The Plague (La peste). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Franck Pilant & Maidi Roth (César Wagner, Origines, Perfect Murders). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the first two tracks (Le docteur Riou & Twisted World Song) after the jump. The Plague is developed by Gilles Taurand & Georges-Marc Benamou based on Albert Camus’ novel of the same title and stars Frédéric Pierrot, Hugo Becker, Sofia Essaïdi and Judith Chemla. The 4-part drama directed by Antoine Garceau is set in 2029 in a society still recovering from the waves of COVID epidemics and that is now facing a much deadlier plague. The series just premiered last week and currently airs every Monday on France 2.
