Lesley Barber (Manchester by the Sea, You Can Count On Me, The Moth Diaries, Late Night, Mansfield Park) has recently scored the upcoming documentary Diane Warren: Relentless. The film is directed by Bess Kargman (First Position) and centers on the Honorary Academy Award- and Grammy Award-winning songwriter. The movie, which features interviews with Clive Davis, Gloria Estefan, Common, Jerry Bruckheimer, Cher, Jennifer Hudson, Quincy Jones, among others, chronicles Warren’s life and underdog journey to where she is today. Kargman is also producing the project with Michele Farinola (Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice, David Crosby: Remember My Name) and Peggy Drexler (The Fight, Mike Wallace Is Here). Diane Warren: Relentless is premiering this week at the 2024 SXSW Film Festival.
