Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Paramount+ original movie The Tiger’s Apprentice. The album features the film’s original score composed by Steve Jablonsky (Transformers, The Island, DC League of Super-Pets, Deepwater Horizon, Ender’s Game, Desperate Housewives, Skyscraper). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 23. The Tiger’s Apprentice is directed by Raman Hui, co-directed by Paul Watling & Yong Duk Jhun and stars Henry Golding, Lucy Liu, Brandon Soo Hoo, Leah Lewis, Jo Koy, Bowen Yang, Sherry Cola, Sandra Oh and Michelle Yeoh. The Paramount Animation production is based on Laurence Yep’s children’s book series of the same name and tells the story of a Chinese-American teenager who discovers he is part of a long lineage of magical protectors known as the Guardians and – with guidance from a mythical tiger and other Zodiac animal warriors – trains to take on an evil force that threatens humanity. The movie premiered last month and is now available to stream on Paramount+.
