Caldera Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1970 western Soldier Blue directed by Ralph Nelson and starring Candice Bergen, Peter Strauss, Donald Pleasence, Dana Elcar and John Anderson. The album includes the first-ever release of the original film recording of the movie’s original score composed by Roy Budd (Get Carter, The Wild Geese, The Sea Wolves, Kidnapped, Flight of the Doves). Visit the label’s official website to find out more about the CD and to check out audio samples. Several of Budd’s compositions from his score re-recorded in pop arrangements have previously been released by different labels, most recently as a digital edition in 2020 by Jambo Records.
