Plaza Mayor Company will release a soundtrack EP for the Iranian/German drama Critical Zone (Mantagheye bohrani). The 5-track EP features the film’s original music composed by Milad Movahedi (Invasion, Botox). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, January 26 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Critical Zone is written and directed by Ali Ahmadzadeh and stars Amir Pousti, Shirin Abedinirad, Alireza Keymanesh, Maryam Sadeghiyan, Saghar Saharkhiz and Mina Hasanlou. The movie is set in the underworld of Tehran and follows a man driving through the city’s underworld with his dog, dealing drugs and healing troubled souls. The drama premiered at last year’s Locarno Film Festival, where it received the Golden Leopard, and also screened at other film festivals over the last couple of months.
