This morning, the nominations for the 96th Academy Awards were announced. Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of the last year will be presented on Oscar Sunday, March 10, 2024 at the Dolby Theatre at the Hollywood & Highland Center and will be televised live in the U.S. on the ABC Television Network at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT and in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide. Here are the music-related nominations:

Among the score composers, John Williams (previous winner for Fiddler on the Roof, Jaws, Star Wars, E.T. & Schindler’s List) received his fifty-fourth nomination. Ludwig Göransson (previous winner for Black Panther) received his second nomination in the score category and third nomination overall. Laura Karpman, Robbie Robertson & Jerskin Fendrix are all first time nominees.
