Ba Da Bing! will release a soundtrack album for the comedy Flux Gourmet. The album features the music from the film performed by The Sonic Catering Band, as well as other contributors such as Jeremy Barnes, Cavern Of Anti-Matter, Heather Trost of A Hawk And A Hacksaw, Trost’s band Roj and Nurse With Wound. Flux Gourmet is written and directed by Peter Strickland and stars Asa Butterfield, Gwendoline Christie, Ariane Labed, Fatma Mohamed, Leo Bill, Richard Bremmer and Makis Papadimitrou. The movie centers on a dysfunctional sonic collective – a band devoted to the sounds of the culinary arts – as they navigate rivalries internal and external. The comedy, which premiered at the 2022 Berlin Film Festival, was released in select U.S. theaters and on VOD later that year by IFC Films and is now also available on Blu-ray and DVD.
