Buda Musique has released a soundtrack album for the Mongolian drama If Only I Could Hibernate (Baavgai Bolohson). The album features the film’s original score composed by Johanni Curtet. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. A CD version will be released on March 8 and is available for pre-order on Amazon. If Only I Could Hibernate is written and directed by Zoljargal Purevdash and stars Battsooj Uurtsaikh, Nominjiguur Tsend and Tuguldur Batsaikhan. The movie tells the story of a teenage boy who struggles to escape his poor background by winning a science competition to earn a scholarship. The drama premiered at last year’s Cannes Film Festival and is being released in French theaters today. No word yet on a domestic release.
