Composers Ben Salisbury & Geoff Barrow(Luce, Archive 81, Hanna, Free Fire) are reteaming with writer/director Alex Garland on the upcoming action drama Civil War. The film is written and directed by Garland and stars Kirsten Dunst, Cailee Spaeny, Wagner Moura, Stephen McKinley Henderson and Nick Offerman. The movie is being described as revolving around a race to the White House in a near-future America balanced on the razor’s edge. Gregory Goodman (X-Men: First Class, News of the World) and DNA’s Andrew Macdonald & Allon Reich (28 Days Later, Far from the Madding Crowd) are producing the project. Salisbury & Barrow have previously scored Garland’s last three features, Ex Machina, Annihilation & Men, as well as the filmmaker’s TV series Devs. Civil War is set to be released in theaters nationwide on April 26, 2024 by A24.
