Este Haim (of the rock band HAIM) & Christopher Stracey (Fingernails, Manodrome, War Pony) have teamed up to score the upcoming romantic comedy Anyone But You. The film is directed by Will Gluck (Peter Rabbit, Easy A) and stars Sydney Sweeney, Glen Powell, Alexandra Shipp, Hadley Robinson, GaTa, Michelle Hurd, Darren Barnet, Dermot Mulroney and Rachel Griffiths. The movie follows a man and a woman who – after an amazing first date – find themselves unexpectedly thrust together at a destination wedding in Australia and decide to pretend to be a couple. Ilana Wolpert and Gluck wrote the screenplay based on a story by Wolpert. Gluck is also producing the project with Joe Roth (Alice in Wonderland, While You Were Sleeping) and Jeff Kirschenbaum (Fast X, Hustle). Haim & Stracey have previously co-scored the Netflix series Maid and last year’s feature Cha Cha Real Smooth. Anyone But You will be released in theaters nationwide on December 22, 2023 by Sony Pictures.
