Nathan Micay (Industry, Reality) has recently scored the upcoming British Paramount+ original series Sexy Beast. The show is a prequel to Jonathan Glazer’s 2000 feature of the same title (scored by Roque Banos) and stars James McArdle, Emun Elliott, Tamsin Greig, Stephen Moyer and Sarah Greene. The 8-part drama explores the origins of Gal and Don’s complicated relationship as they find themselves descending into the seductive madness of the London criminal world during the vibrant and volatile 1990s. Michael Caleo (Ironside), Nicole Clemens (Shantaram), Antony Smith (The Cleansing), Michael Scheel (Berlin Station, The Offer), JC Acosta, Alastair Galbraith and David Caffrey (The Alienist) are executive producing the AC Chapter One and Anonymous Content with David Scinto & Louis Mellis (44 Inch Chest) who wrote the original film. Sexy Beast will premiere on January 25, 2024 on Paramount+.
Micay is also expected to return the third season of HBO’s Industry, which is also set to debut next year.
