Compound Interest has released a soundtrack album for the crime thriller The Dirty South. The album features the film’s original songs co-written by Tyler Forrest (who also provided the project’s score) and performed by artists such as Jovin Webb, Kori Lynn and VZ. Also included are tracks by Jessta James, Brantley Gilbert & Jelly Roll, Reyli Barba, Dorothy, Harrison Steele & others. The Dirty South is written and directed by Matthew Yerby and stars Willa Holland, Dermot Mulroney and Shane West. The movie follows a woman who finds herself in a desperate battle to save her family’s struggling business, when she meets a handsome drifter who comes into town and sees him as the only chance to prevent their bar from falling into the hands of a ruthless local tycoon. The is being released in select theaters and on VOD today by Cineverse.
