Decca Records will release a soundtrack album for the French/Belgian drama La petite. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ludovico Einaudi (The Intouchables, The Father, This Is England, Samba). The soundtrack will be released on December 8 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out the track list. A first track (Les Souvenirs et les Èmotions) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out below. La petite is co-written and directed by Guillaume Nicloux and stars Fabrice Luchini, Mara Taquin, Maud Wyler and Veerle Baetens. The movie follows a 60-year old man who – upon learning of the accidental death of his son and his partner – travels to meet the young woman who was carrying their future baby. The drama opened in French and Belgian theaters this past September and is scheduled to be released in other international markets over the next couple of months. No word yet on a domestic release.
