John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, Iron Man 2, The Jungle Book, Elf, Hocus Pocus) & Jonathan Sadoff (The Peanut Butter Falcon, Ingrid Goes West, Dollface, The Mick) have composed the original score for the new animated feature Under the Boardwalk. The film is directed by David Soren (Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie) and features the voices of Keke Palmer, Michael Cera, Bobby Cannavale, Gideon Adlon, John Magaro, Steve Schirripa, Cassandra Scerbo and Vanessa Bell Calloway. The movie follows a timid Jersey crab and a bold tourist sea crab who get swept away by a storm and embark on a journey to find home. Soren also co-wrote the screenplay with Lorene Scafaria (Hustlers) based on a story by Scafaria & David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers, Shanghai Knights). George Drakoulias serves as the project’s music supervisor. Dobkin is also producing the Nickelodeon Movies & A Big Kid Pictures production with Dagan Potter and Allison Gardner. Scafaria has previously collaborated with Sadoff on the narrative features Seeking a Friend for the End of the World & The Meddler. Under the Boardwalk will be released in select theaters on October 27 by Paramount Pictures before coming out on Digital on November 7.
