OONA has released the official soundtrack album for the Norwegian documentary Songs of Earth (Fedrelandet). The album features the film’s original music composed by Rebekka Karijord (I Am Greta, All the Old Knives, Explorer, Pray, Obey, Kill) and performed by the London Contemporary Orchestra. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Songs of Earth is directed by Margreth Olin who allows the audience experience Norway’s landscapes of mountains, fjords and glaciers, guided by her 84-year-old father, enabling viewers to escape the hyperactivity of modern times and absorb the profundity of nature. The documentary, which premiered at this year’s CPH:DOX Festival, will be released in Norwegian theaters this Friday, September 1 and will also screen next month at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival.
