Ti Piment has released a soundtrack album for the French drama The Path of Excellence (La voie royale). The album features the film’s original music composed by Audrey Ismaël (Angel Face, Vortex, Germinal, Chacun pour tous, Gloria). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. The Path of Excellence is co-written and directed by Frédéric Mermoud and stars Suzanne Jouannet, Marie Colomb, Maud Wyler, Lorenzo Lefebvre, Marilyne Canto, Cyril Metzger, Antoine Chappey and Alexandre Desrousseaux. The movie revolves around a young woman and brilliant student who leaves the family farm to try her chance at the entrance exam for top rated schools by enrolling in a preparatory science class. The drama just opened in French theaters today. No word yet on a domestic release.
