Strange Loops Recordings has released a soundtrack album for the Australian TV series The Messenger. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Bryony Marks (Berlin Syndrome, Felony, Lambs of God, Sisters, 2040, A Month of Sundays). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. The Messenger is based on Markus Zusak’s best-selling novel of the same name and stars William McKenna, Maggie Dence, Alexandra Jensen, Chris Alosio and Kartanya Maynard (Deadloch). The 8-part drama revolves around an accidental hero who stops an armed robbery and starts getting mysterious messages. The series premiered in Australia last month on ABC.
