Quartet Records has announced the world premiere commercial soundtrack album for the 1971 British western Hannie Caulder directed by Burt Kennedy and starring Raquel Welch, Robert Culp, Ernest Borgnine, Jack Elam, Strother Martin, Diana Dors and Christopher Lee. The album features the film’s original score composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Ken Thorne (Superman II & III, The Protector, Inspector Closeau, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, The Ritz). Also included is the theme song Life Never Is Easy performed by Bobby Hanna. The CD, which is limited to 1,000 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release. Hannie Caulder is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
