A24 Music will release the official soundtrack album for Celine Song’s romantic drama Past Lives. The album features the film’s original score composed by Grizzly Bear’s Christopher Bear (High Maintenance, Swallowed) & Daniel Rossen (The Line). Also included is the song Quiet Eyes by Sharon Van Etten. The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 9, 2023 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Two first tracks (Across the Ocean & Why Are You Going to New York) are already available to stream/download now and can also be checked out below. Past Lives is written and directed by Song and stars Greta Lee, Teo Yoo and John Magaro. The movie follows two childhood friends whose relationship ended abruptly when one of their families emigrated from South Korea to Canada as they reunite two decades later in New York.The romance premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and will be released in select theaters on June 2 by A24 before expanding nationwide in the following weeks.
