Rob Lord (Troop Zero, I Am Duran, Slipstream) has composed the original score for the new comedy Buddy Games: Spring Awakening. The film is directed by Josh Duhamel and stars Dan Bakkedahl, Kevin Dillon, Duhamel himself, James Roday Rodriguez, Nick Swardson, Lochlyn Munro, Ginnifer Goodwin and Jensen Ackles. The sequel to 2020’s Buddy Games (scored by Alex Wurman) follows the gang as they set out to honor a lost friend, only to find themselves in the middle of Spring Break. Gabe McKinley and Rachael Thoele wrote the screenplay. Duhamel is also producing the project with Michael J. Luisi (Fighting With My Family, The Call). Buddy Games: Spring Awakening will be released in select theaters on May 19, 2023 before coming out on Digital on June 2.
