Diego Baldenweg with Nora Baldenweg & Lionel Baldenweg (Zwingli, Head Full of Honey, The Little Witch, Born to Spy) are composing the original music for the upcoming drama/thriller/western In the Land of Saints and Sinners. The film is directed by Robert Lorenz (The Trouble with the Curve, The Marksman) and stars Liam Neeson, Ciarán Hinds, Kerry Condon, Colm Meaney, Jack Gleeson, Desmond Eastwood, Sarah Greene, Conor MacNeill, Valentine Olukoga, Seamus O’Hara and Mark O’Regan. The movie is set in a remote Irish village, where a newly retired assassin finds himself drawn into a lethal game of cat and mouse with a trio of vengeful terrorists. Mark Michael McNally and Terry Loane wrote the screenplay, with revisions by Matthew Feitshans. Markus Barmettler & Philip Lee (The Revenant, The Captain), Kieran Corrigan (Queen & Country, Assassin Club) and Bonnie Timmermann (Violet & Daisy, Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus) are producing the project. In the Land of Saints and Sinners is expected to premiere this year and will debut in the UK and Ireland on Netflix.
