Executive producers Glenn Weiss, Ricky Kirshner & Molly McNearne announced today that singers Rahul Sipligunj & Kaala Bhairava will perform the Academy Award-nominated song Naatu Naatu from S. S. Rajamouli’s RRR at the 95th Oscar ceremony, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, on Sunday, March 12, 2023. The song, which is written by M.M. Keeravaani with lyrics by Chandrabose, is one of the five nominated songs in the Original Song category.As previously announced, Rihanna will perform Lift Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, David Byrne, Stephanie Hsu & Son Lux will perform This Is a Life from Everything Everywhere All at Once and Sofia Carson & Diane Warren will perform Applause from Tell It Like a Woman at the event. The other nominated song (Hold My Hand from Top Gun: Maverick) is also expected to be performed live during the telecast.
