Composer Eric Serra is reteaming with director Luc Besson on the upcoming drama Dogman. The film is written and directed by Besson and stars Caleb Landry Jones, Christopher Denham, Jojo T. Gibbs, Marisa Berenson, James Payton, Michael Garza, Bennett Saltzman and Derek Siow. The movie tells the story of a child, bruised by life, who grows to find his salvation through the love of his dogs. Virginie Besson-Silla (Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, The Family) is producing the LBP & EuropaCorp production with Steve Rabineau. Serra (GoldenEye, Arthur and the Invisibles, Bulletproof Monk) has previously scored most of Besson’s features, including La Femme Nikita, The Big Blue, Leon: The Professional, The Fifth Element and Lucy. Dogman is set to be released in French theaters this spring. No domestic distribution deal has been announced yet.
