We Are Dark Angels (aka Deantoni Parks & Nicci Kasper) have composed the original score for the upcoming action thriller Ambush. The film is directed by Mark Earl Burman and stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Connor Paolo, Jason Genad and Aaron Eckhart. The movie follows a US Army Squad fighting in the Vietnam War who must take the battle below ground on a high-stakes mission when their small outpost is ambushed. Burman also wrote the screenplay with Johnny Lozano, Michael McClung and Dillon Slack. He is also producing the Dark Mark production. Parks & Kasper have previously composed the music for the Burman-produced 2016 feature Dog Eat Dog (directed by Paul Schrader). They have also co-scored the first season of Amazon’s A League of Their Own TV series. Ambush will be released in select theaters and on VOD on February 24 by Saban Films.
