The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences today announced the shortlists for several categories for the 95th Academy Awards, including Original Score and Original Song. The shortlisted scores and songs are listed in alphabetical order below. The nominations for the 95th Academy Awards will be announced on January 24, 2023 and the awards show will be held on March 12.
Fifteen scores will advance in the Original Score category for the 95th Academy Awards. 147 scores were eligible in the category. Members of the Music Branch vote to determine the shortlist and the nominees. The scores, listed in alphabetical order by film title, are:

I’m sure it won’t happen at this point, but I hope “Hold My Hand” doesn’t get nominated.
How the heck did “Nobody Like U” from Turning Red not make the shortlist, this is absolute BS, I hope the overrated song that basically is an automatic win, Naatu Naatu doesn’t compete for the award, because it wins every goddamn time this award season
