Gabriel Mann (Modern Family, A Million Little Things, Better Nate Than Never, Rectify, Uncoupled, High School Musical: The Musical – The Series) has composed the original score for the new Paramount+/Nickelodeon original movie Snow Day. The film is directed by Michael Lembeck (The Santa Clause 2 & 3, Tooth Fairy) and stars Jerry Trainor, Laura Bell Bundy, Ky Baldwin, Natalie Brandston, Shelby Simmons, Michaela Russell and Fabi Aguirre. The musical reimagining of the 2000 feature of the same title (scored by Steve Bartek) follows a group of kids who are determined to achieve their dreams when their school closes for a snow day. Will McRobb & Chris Viscardi and Samantha Martin (Danger Force, Henry Danger The Musical) wrote the teleplay and also contributed original music for the movie. Mann has previously collaborated with Lembeck on last year’s The J Team. Snow Day will premiere this Friday on Paramount+ and Nickelodeon.
Mann also continues to score ABC’s A Million Little Things, which will return for its fifth and final season on February 8, 2023, Disney+’s High School Musical: The Musical – The Series, which has been renewed for a fourth season and Paramount+’s iCarly, which will return for a third season next year.
