Edizioni Curci has released a soundtrack album for the Italian comedy drama Dry (Siccità). The album features the film’s original music composed by Franco Piersanti (Me and You, The Caiman, Terraferma, Ordinary Happiness). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Dry is co-written and directed by Paolo Virzì and stars Silvio Orlando, Valerio Mastandrea, Tommaso Ragno, Elena Lietti, Claudia Pandolfi, Monica Bellucci, Vinicio Marchioni, Diego Ribon, Emanuela Fanelli, Max Tortora, Gabriel Montesi and Sara Serraiocco. The movie is set in a semi-post-apocalyptic Rome that has suffered three years without rain and follows a group of characters as they trying to get by in the waterless city. The dramedy premiered at this year’s Venice Film Festival and has just been released in Italian theaters this past weekend. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
