SATV has released a soundtrack album for the British/Italian noir thriller The Hanging Sun. The album features the film’s original music composed by Andrea Farri (The First King, Security, Latin Lover, Non mi uccidere, Italian Race). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Hanging Sun is directed by Francesco Carrozzini and stars Alessandro Borghi, Jessica Brown Findlay, Sam Spruell, Raphael Vicas, Frederick Schmidt, Peter Mullan and Charles Dance. The movie is based on Jo Nesbø’s novel Midnight Sun and follows a hitman on the run from his former employer who seeks refuge in an isolated village where he is faced with events that test the true nature of his conscience. The thriller, which premiered at this year’s Venice Film Festival, was released in Italian theaters last week and will premiere in other markets on Sky over the next weeks.
