The first two track from the soundtrack for the Amazon original series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power have been released. Available to stream now exclusively on Amazon Music are the tracks Galadriel & Sauron written by the show’s composer Bear McCreary (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, 10 Cloverfield Lane, The Walking Dead, Outlander, Battlestar Galactica, Happy Death Day). Details about the release of more music from McCreary’s score from the first season and the show’s main title theme by Howard Shore (who scored The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies) are expected to be announced soon. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will premiere on September 2, 2022 on Amazon Prime.
