Firestep has released a soundtrack album for the French musical comedy Tenor. The album features the film’s original score composed by Laurent Perez Del Mar (The Red Turtle, I Kill Giants, The Mystery of Henri Pick, My Son, Zarafa, The Kitchen Brigade). Also included are the songs from the movie performed by beatboxing world champion and lead actor MB14. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Tenor is co-written and directed by Claude Zidi Jr. and stars MB14 and Michèle Laroque. The movie tells the story of a talented young underdog who rises from suburban streets to the grand stage of the Paris Opéra. The comedy just opened in French theaters last Wednesday. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
