Sonoton Music has released a soundtrack album for the German- & Turkish-language comedy drama Rabiye Kurnaz vs. George W. Bush. The album features the film’s original music composed by Johannes Repka (Combat Girls, Cleo, Schmitke, The Legend of Timm Thaler or The Boy Who Sold His Laughter) & Cenk Erdoğan. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Rabiye Kurnaz vs. George W. Bush is directed by Andreas Dresen and stars Meltem Kaptan, Alexander Scheer, Charly Hübner, Nazmi Kirik and Sevda Polat. The movie revolves around an ordinary woman living in Bremen, Germany who sets off on a journey to fight for the release of her son when he is accused of terrorism and shipped off to Guantanamo.The dramedy premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival and is set to be released in German theaters this Thursday, April 28. No word yet on a domestic release.
