Isabella Summers (aka Isa Machine of Florence + the Machine) (Little Fires Everywhere, Panic, Physical) is the composer of the new Paramount+ limited series The Offer. The show is created by Michael Tolkin (The Player, Escape at Donnamora) and stars Miles Teller as Oscar-winning producer Albert S. Ruddy, Matthew Goode as Robert Evans, Juno Temple as Bettye McCartt, Dan Fogler as Francis Ford Coppola, Giovanni Ribisi as Joe Colombo, Colin Hanks as Barry Lapidus, Burn Gorman as Charles Bluhdorn and Patrick Gallo as Mario Puzo. The 10-part drama is based on Ruddy’s experiences of making Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather, one of the most legendary films in Paramount’s history. Tolkin, Teller & Ruddy are also executive producing the Paramount Television Studios production with Nikki Toscano (Hunters), Russell Rothberg, as well as Leslie Greif (Hatfield & McCoys, Texas Rangers) who also developed the series and Dexter Fletcher (Rocketman, Eddie the Eagle) who directed the first two episodes. The Offer will premiere this Thursday, April 28 exclusively on Paramount+.
As previously reported, Summers also has the animated feature Hitpig coming up. She is also expected to score the second season of Apple TV+’s Physical and co-score Season 2 of Netflix’s Sex Life. Among her other recent projects is Phyllis Nagy’s Call Jane, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and will be released in theaters on October 14, 2022 by Roadside Attractions.
