Cinéma Defacto & Point Prod have released a soundtrack album for the Swiss/French drama Olga. The album features the film’s original music composed by Pierre Desprats (Perfect Nanny, The Wild Boys, Rouge). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the full track list and listen to audio samples. Olga is co-written and directed by Elie Grappe and stars Anastasia Budiashkina, Sabrina Rubtsova, Théa Brogli, Caterina Barloggio, Jérôme Martin and Alicia Onomor. The movie follows a young Ukrainian gymnast who is forced to leave her country in order to train in Switzerland when her mother’s work as a journalist endangers their lives during the 2014 Euromaidan protests. The drama, which premiered at last year’s Cannes International Critics’ Week and was selected as the Swiss entry for the International Feature category at this year’s Academy Awards, was released in several international markets over the last couple of months. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
