A soundtrack album has been released for the Swedish documentary Calendar Girls. The album features the film’s original music composed by Love Martinsen (Sunny Side, Torpederna, Eternal Summer) who also co-directed the movie. Calendar Girls is directed by Martinsen & Maria Loohufvud and follows a group of senior volunteer dancers in Southern Florida who are determined to prove that age is just a number. The documentary, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, has just been released in Swedish theaters earlier this month and has been picked up by Juno Films for a domestic release later this year.
