440 Hz has released a soundtrack album for the French/Belgian/Algerian drama Faithful (De nos frères blessés). The album features the film’s original music composed by Forever Pavot (aka Emile Sornin). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the full track list and listen to audio samples. Faithful is co-written and directed by Hélier Cisterne and stars Vincent Lacoste, Vicky Krieps, Jules Langlade and Marc Brunet. The movie is set in 1950s Algiers and tells the story of a communist dissident Fernand Iveton, who, on a brief trip to Paris for medical tests, falls in love with an escapee from an oppressive regime in Poland. The drama, which premiered at various film festivals over the last two years, is being released in French theaters today. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
