La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1984 comedy Top Secret! written and directed by Jim Abrahams, David Zucker & Jerry Zucker and starring Val Kilmer and Lucy Gutteridge. The 2-CD set features the world premiere of the original film score recording film score recording by Academy Award winner Maurice Jarre (Lawrence of Arabia, Doctor Zhivago, Ghost, No Way Out, Gorillas in the Mist, Witness, Jacob’s Ladder), as well as bonus and source cues on the first disc, as well as the CD world premiere of the Paramount Pictures production’s retro-rock songs and the remastered original 1984 (re-recorded) score album on the second disc. The soundtrack is limited to 2,000 copies and will be available to order on the label’s official website at noon today. Top Secret! is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
