Composers Geoff Barrow & Ben Salisbury are reuniting with director Alex Garland on the upcoming horror drama Men. The film is written and directed by Garland and stars Jessie Buckley and Rory Kinnear. The movie revolves around a young woman who goes on a solo vacation to the English countryside after the death of her ex-husband. DNA’s Andrew Macdonald (28 Days Later.., Trainspotting) and Allon Reich (Dredd, Never Let Me Go) are producing the project. Salisbury & Barrow have previously scored Garland’s first two directorial efforts, Ex Machina and Annihilation and also collaborated with the filmmaker on the limited series Devs. Men will be released this year by A24. A release date is expected to be announced soon.
Barrow & Salisbury (Luce, Hanna, Free Fire) have also recently scored the Netflix series Archive 81, which just premiered last month.
