Grande Ourse has released a soundtrack album for the French drama The Accusation (Les choses humaines). The album features the film’s original music composed by Mathieu Lamboley (Lupin, A Minuscule Adventure, The Last Mercenary, Sisters in Arms, Lolo, Return of the Hero). Also included are songs by King Pleasure and Elle Fitzgerald & Joe Pass. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music stores), where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. The Accusation is co-written and directed by Yvan Attal and stars Ben Attal, Suzanne Jouannet, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Mathieu Kassovitz, Audrey Dana, Pierre Arditi, Benjamin Lavernhe and Judith Chemla. The movie is based on the bestseller of the same name by Karine Tuil and follows the downfall of a French intellectual power couple whose model son is accused of rape. The drama premiered at this year’s Venice Film Festival and is being released in French theaters today. No domestic distribution deal has been announced yet.
