Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the animated documentary Flee. The album features the film’s original music composed by Uno Helmersson (The Painter and the Thief, The Lion Woman, Magnus, The Absent One, Bobbi Jene). The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 3 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (Leaving Family Behind) is already being released today and can be checked out after the jump. Flee is directed by Jonas Poher Rasmussen, executive produced by Riz Ahmed & Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and tells the story of Amin Nawabi as he grapples with a painful secret he has kept hidden for 20 years, one that threatens to derail the life he has built for himself and his soon to be husband. The movie which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, where it received the Grand Jury Prize, was selected as Denmark’s entry for Best International Feature at next year’s Academy Awards,and will be released in U.S. theaters on December 3 by Neon.
