Ram Khatabakhsh (Skylines, Portals, The Hunger Games Exhibition, Transformers Autobots) has composed the original score for the upcoming action thriller Never Back Down: Revolt. The film is directed by Kellie Madison (The Tank) and stars Olivia Popica, Michael Bisping, Brooke Johnston and James Faulkner. The fourth installment in the Never Back Down series follows an amateur fighter who is lured by a trafficking syndicate specializing in elite underground fighting where her brutal captor forces her to fight or face certain death. Audrey Arkins (Elyse) wrote the screenplay. David Zelon (Soul Surfer, Into the Blue) is producing the project for Mandalay Pictures, alongside Craig Baumgarten (Universal Soldier, Shattered Glass) for Wonder Street. Never Back Down: Revolt will be released on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD on November 16, 2021 by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
As previously reported, Khatabakhsh is also attached to score Steven Quale’s shark thriller Alphas.
