Jeff Cardoni (Silicon Valley, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, The Kominsky Method,, Turner & Hooch) is scoring the new CBS comedy Ghosts. The show is developed by Joe Port & Joe Wiseman based on the BBC series of the same title and stars Rose McIver, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Brandon Scott Jones, Richie Moriarty, Danielle Pinnock, Asher Grodman, Román Zaragoza, Sheila Carrasco, Rebecca Wisocky and Devan Chandler Long. The series revolves around a cheerful freelance journalist and up-and-coming chef who throw both caution and money to the wind when they decide to convert a rundown country estate they inherited into a bed & breakfast – only to find it’s inhabited by the many spirits of deceased residents who now call it home. Port and Wiseman are also executive producing the CBS Studios, Lionsgate Television and BBC Studios production with Mathew Baynton, Jim Howick, Simon Farnaby, Laurence Rickard, Ben Willbond and Martha Howe-Douglas (Yonderland), Alison Carpenter (Harlots), Debra Hayward (Les Miserables, Bridget Jones’s Baby), Alison Owen (Elizabeth, The Other Boleyn Girl), Angie Stephenson (The Night Of, Call Me Kat).
