Italian singer/songwriter Andrea Laszlo De Simone is making his film scoring debut on the upcoming French/Italian romantic drama Promises. The movie is written and directed by Amanda Sthers (Holy Lands, Madame) and stars Kelly Reilly, Pierfrancesco Favino, Jean Reno, Cara Theobold, Deepak Verma and Kris Marshall. The film is based on Sthers’ novel of the same title and centers on an unfulfilled love affair between a man and a woman. Fabio Conversi (The Lookout, L’attesa), Marco Cohen, Benedetto Habib & Fabrizio Donvito (Human Capital, The Leisure Seeker) and Daniel Campos Pavoncelli (The App) are producing the project.
