WaterTower Music will release the first soundtrack album for DC Super Hero Girls. The album features the songs from the show’s first season performed by Dan Petty, Michelle Lewis & Kay Hanley, including the main title song Super Life. Also included are selections of the show’s original score composed by Michael Gatt (Braid, The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson, Blood Drive) who also co-wrote several songs. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, May 28 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music stores. DC Super Hero Girls is developed by Lauren Faust based on the web series of the same title created by Shea Fontana, Lisa Yee & Aria Moffly and stars Grey Griffin, Tara Strong, Nicole Sullivan, Kimberly Brooks, Myrna Velasco and Kari Wahlgren. The Warner Bros. Animation revolves around not-so-typical teenagers Diana, Kara and Barbara, alongside their Super Hero friends who have much more to deal with than just protecting Metropolis from some of the most sinister school-aged Super-Villains. The show’s first season premiered in 2019 and a second season is set to debut on June 6, 2021 on Cartoon Network.
