Gabriel Mann (Modern Family, Rectify, Rosewood) has signed on to score the upcoming movie musical The J Team. The film is directed by Michael Lembeck (The Santa Clause 2 & 3, Tooth Fairy) and stars JoJo Siwa (who is contributing six new songs to the project), Tisha Campbell-Martin, Laura Soltis, Julia Marley, Kerrynton Jones and Kiara T. Romero. The movie follows a young girl whose life is turned upside down when her beloved dance coach decides to retire and is replaced by a sparkle-hating instructor. Eydie Faye wrote the screenplay. Ron French (Five Star Christmas) is producing the Nickelodeon and Awesomeness Films production. No word yet on a release date for The J Team.
Mann also continues to score ABC’s A Million Little Things, which has just been renewed for a fourth season, as well as Disney+’s High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, which just returned for its second season last Friday.
