Needlewood Records will release a soundtrack album for the German TV series Wild Republic. The album features the show’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Volker Bertelmann (aka Hauschka) (Lion, Your Honor, Hotel Mumbai, Adrift, Ammonite, The Old Guard, Patrick Melrose). The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 15 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out the track list. Wild Republic is created by Jan Martin Scharf, Arne Nolting & Klaus Wolfertstetter and stars Emma Drogunova, Merlin Rose, Aaron Altaras, Béla Gabor Lenz and Maria Dragus. The 8-part drama directed by Markus Goller & Lennart Ruff follows a group of young offenders who take refuge in the high Alps after a tragic incident during their resocialization project and form a new society – according to their own laws. The series will premiere in Germany on April 15 on Deutsche Telekom’s OTT service MagentaTV.
