Movistar Sound has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish limited series Libertad. The album features the show’s original music composed by Mario de Benito (No Rest for the Wicked, Box 507). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Libertad is created by Miguel Barros & Michel Gaztambide, directed by Enrique Urbizu and stars Bebe, Isak Férriz, Xabier Deive, Jorge Suquet, Sofía Oria, Jason Fernández, Pedro Casablanc and Luis Callejo. The historical adventure is set in early 19th century Spain, in the wake of the French Revolution, and tracks the struggle of La Llanera in her search for freedom. The series just premiered this past Friday in Spain on Movistar+ and a movie-length version of the show was also released in Spanish theaters.
