Jeff Cardoni (Silicon Valley, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, CSI: Miami, Just Friends) has been hired to score the upcoming Starz original series Heels. The show is created by by Michael Waldron (Loki) and stars Stephen Amell, Alexander Ludwig, Alison Luff, Kelli Berglund, Chris Bauer, Allen Maldonado, Mary McCormack and two-time Super Bowl champion James Harrison. The drama is set in a close-knit Georgia community and follows a family-owned wrestling promotion as two brothers and rivals war over their late father’s legacy. Mike O’Malley (Survivor’s Remorse) serves as the project’s showrunner and is also executive producing the Lionsgate TV & Paramount Television Studios production with Waldron, LBI Entertainment’s Julie Yorn (Hell or High Water, Unstoppable), Peter Segal (Get Smart, 50 First Dates), Chris Donnelly and Patrick Walmsley (JT LeRoy). Heels is set to premiere later this year on Starz.
As previously reported, Cardoni also has the Disney+ series Turner & Hooch coming up. He also continues to score Netflix’s The Kominsky Method, CBS’ Young Sheldon, as well as Peacock’s A.P. Bio and Saved by the Bell reboot,
