Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for the thriller The Violent Heart. The album features the film’s original music composed by John Swihart (Napoleon Dynamite, How I Met Your Mother, Table 19, Switched at Birth, Youth in Revolt).The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. The Violent Heart is written and directed by Kerem Sanga and stars Jovan Adepo, Grace Van Patten, Mary J. Bilge, Lukas Haas, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Jahi Di’Allo Winston and Cress Williams. The movie follows a 24-year-old who – fifteen years after the murder of his older sister – finds himself falling for an outgoing high school senior. The thriller premiered at last year’s Sundance Film Festival and was released in select theaters and on VOD last month by Gravitas Ventures
