Brian Tyler (Fast & Furious, Iron Man 3, Crazy Rich Asians, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Now You See Me) & Breton Vivian (Five Feet Apart, Yellowstone) have teamed up to score the upcoming romantic drama Redeeming Love. The film is directed by D.J. Caruso (Disturbia, I Am Number Four) and stars Logan Marshall-Green, Abigail Cowen, Nina Dobrev, Famke Janssen, Tom Lewis and Eric Dane. The movie based on the novel of the same title by Francine Rivers (who also wrote the screenplay) is set against the romantic backdrop of the California Gold Rush of 1850 and centers on a woman who was sold into prostitution as a child and has survived through hatred and self-loathing, when she meets a man and discovers there is no brokenness that love can’t heal. Cindy Bond (I Can Only Imagine) is producing the project for Mission Pictures, alongside Simon Swart (6 Below: Miracle on the Mountain) & Wayne Fitzjohn for Nthibah Pictures, as well as Michael Scott, David A.R. White & Brittany Yost (Samson) for Pure Flix Entertainment. Tyler has previously collaborated with Caruso on the features Eagle Eye, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, Standing Up and The Disappointments Room. Redeeming Love is expected to be released this year,
Tyler’s other upcoming projects include Tyler Sheridan’s Those Who Wish Me Dead starring Angelina Jolie & Nicholas Hoult, as well as F9, the ninth installment in the Fast & Furious series directed by Justin Lin and starring Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, John Cena, Jordana Brewster, Helen Mirren & Charlize Theron (currently scheduled to be released in theaters on May 28, 2021). Tyler & Vivian also continue to co-score Paramount Network’s Yellowstone, which will return for a fourth season this year.
