Shout! Studios announced today that Academy Award nominee Diane Warren has written an original song for the upcoming documentary Stuntwomen: The Untold Hollywood Story. The track, entitled Without a Net, is performed by country music singer/songwriter Mickey Guyton, and will be featured in the April Wright-directed movie, which tells the untold story about the unsung professionals, their struggles on screen to perform at the highest level, and their fight off-screen to be treated fairly and equally. Nora Kroll-Rosenbaum (Stockholm, Pennsylvania, Bird Karma, Don’t Look Deeper) has written the movie’s original score and Bonnie Greenberg serves as the executive music producer. The film narrated by Michelle Rodriquez is based on Mollie Gregory’s 2015 novel and chronicles the lives of women who perform the stunts in some of Hollywood’s biggest action sequences – from the early days of silent movies to today’s blockbusters. Stephanie Austin, Michael Gruskoff and Marion Rosenberg are producing the project. Stuntwomen: The Untold Hollywood Story will be released on Digital on September 22, 2020.
